A digital focus group option that brings people together from anywhere in the country
- What they are: Online chats are a type of focus group where respondents participate by webcam in a virtual room. Respondents see and hear each other, as well as the moderator, in an environment that looks a little like the Brady Bunch title sequence.
- Our approach: This is a “best of both worlds” option when you want the interaction of a live focus group, but you can’t get everyone together in one room. We recommend keeping these groups small – 4 or 5 respondents is ideal – and we emphasize screening respondents to ensure that they’re technologically savvy enough to feel comfortable and relaxed in the experience.
