A more intimate option for more complex topics
- What they are: Mini-groups are very similar to focus groups, but involve a smaller number of respondents — anywhere from 3 to 5 respondents.
- Our approach: Respondent characteristics take on even more importance in mini groups. We take special care to screen respondents to ensure they will be thoughtful, articulate, creative, and enjoy a good rapport together. We often recommend conducting a larger number of mini-groups, compared with full-size groups, in order to hear as broad a range of experiences and perceptions as possible.
